A self-taught painter and a dancer at heart, I am keen on celebrating movement and its echoes in time and space. Each piece is like the ripple effect created after a beautiful performance I watch, or a movie scene that stuck in my mind, a statue that left a strong imprint in our collective history.

I believe that the freedom of movement and of the body is a seat of global liberation. I believe there is no low form of art.

I explore volumes, shapes, and colors in vibrant abstracts or in figurations of dancers. My purpose is to honor beautiful creations and ideations of the past such as sculptures, mythical beings, who carry the archival and eternal aspects of the human body. I am passionate about the ways materiality holds spirit and like to translate it into colorful, radiant palettes.
